Description

W. Curtis Preston interviews George Wagner, Sr. Marketing Manager for Nexgen, at VMWorld 2012 in San Francisco. Nexgen recently launched its N5 storage system, which is a hybrid solution that consists of PCIe solid state and spinning disk. The PCIe solid state doesn't get bottlenecked by the controller like a traditional solid state drive does. It also provides better performance and capacity with a low footprint. All SSD systems are not affordable for many customers, so Nexgen created this system to be affordable for more customers without sacrificing performance. It also comes with 3 levels of service (mission critical, business critical, and non-critical) that customers can use to suit their needs.
